A Touching Gift

I found this post as I was out for my morning cyberwalk. I popped into one of my favorite places and there it was. Enjoy it here, but please visit it at it’s home, because it has many beautiful brothers and sisters.

One Earth To Share

Child of the mountains
Child of the sea
One earth to share
One love of He
That gave us all
This place to dwell
In friendship, peace
And harmony

Quilly is the pseudonym of Charlene L. Amsden, who lives on The Big Island in Hawaii. When she is not hanging out with Amoeba, she is likely teaching or sewing. Or she could be cooking, taking photographs, or even writing. But if she's not doing any of that, she's probably on Facebook or tinkering with her blog.

  1. Very nice poem.

Thanks for the email, I’ll email you back tomorrow. It’s 2:30 AM here and I need to go to bed. lol

  2. Short & Sweet, sometimes brevity can ressonate more deeply than longwindedness. Sometimes 1 wants to hold a ‘note’ or chord forever.
But then we move onto the next stroke … Laters – Q.

  3. I am pleased you enjoyed the poem enough to post it! Life is strange for when I went to your site today I read “After a While” Would you believe I have a copy of it myself.
