More & More Project Yellow!

Project Yellow began at Anna Carson Photography, but it didn’t stay there. She says tomorrow will be the last day for the theme. As usual, I came late to the party. It was an eye-popping bash!

I may have arrived late, but I came with plenty!

Quilly is the pseudonym of Charlene L. Amsden, who lives on The Big Island in Hawaii. When she is not hanging out with Amoeba, she is likely teaching or sewing. Or she could be cooking, taking photographs, or even writing. But if she's not doing any of that, she's probably on Facebook or tinkering with her blog.

  1. Wow, you found LOTS of yellow. You started of subtle and then got bold. I love the bird. And the green and yellow leaf. Nice captures.

  2. I missed Project Yellow but have been oohing and ahhing over all the photos. Yours are gorgeous! I kept scrolling and also loved the bird/fountain and your SkyWatch ocean pic….wonderful job!

  3. oh wow oh wow oh wow! That saffron finch! You are good! These are excellent shots!
Just give your other ‘alf that LOOK and get your camera! You deserve it.

Oh wow oh wow oh wow.

  4. I’m a latecomer too, but intend to keep going with yellow until my son and I run out of ideas. I’m excited to find out what the next color will be too.

All your photos are beautiful. My favorites are the second and fifth because the yellows are just so vibrant.

  5. wow!
great take on yellow… how far were you from the bird?

following your first yellow post i paid more attention to things yellow. it’s quite amazing how one becomes more aware of the colours surrounding them đŸ™‚

  6. Lovely photos. I especially like the plumeria. My brother took a gorgeous photo of plumeria in Hawaii – we framed and hung it in Csilla’s room. In fact one of our hallways is lined with photos of our family in Hawaii. I just love visiting your blog… it’s like a free vacation to one of my favourite places in the world!

  7. Carletta — welcome and thanks!

    Robert — welcome and thanks!

    Debbie — welcome and thanks!

CrazyCath — he isn’t stopping me because he doesn’t want me to have it, but because we’ve only just recently relocated to Hawaii and it wasn’t a cheap move. I have my own job and could readily buy the camera, but we’ve agreed to no major purchases for a set period, and the camera I want would be a major purchase.

Karen — welcome and thanks! I love that you and your son are doing PY as a team.

Melli — you’re for the birds!

Polona — the birds were on the lawn at the resort, and I wasn’t but a few feet away. They were used to people and didn’t startle easily.

Carolyn — feel free to visit often!

Dr. John — are you missing my kid stories? So am I, but all the kids do these days is cry.

Holly — thank you. I was hoping when I took it that the rock would shine through.

Kitty — spit the birdy out now! Bad cat.

Jules — thank you. I currently have a Cannon Power Shot A560.
