First, PROJECT LOOKING THROUGH ….
They were coming at me from the front, the back and the sides, as you can see by looking through my dirty windshield and my rearview mirror. You can also see my fingers holding the camera!
FRIDAY SKY WATCH
Waikiki Beach — the sun sinks a cruise ship skims the horizon. Both the reduced visibility and the pink sunset comes to us courtesy of Kilauea Volcano on (Hawaii) the Big Island.
Surfers frolic in the setting sun. Though the majority of them headed in, there were die-hard surfers still on the water when OC and I quit the beach at about 9:45 last evening.
This was the last moment before the sun sank into the cloud bank. Two young men stand on the seawall (which protects part of the beach from the riptide and makes it safe for all swimmers). Beyond the seawall surfers and their boards dot the water like shark fins.
SKY WATCH comes to us via Wigger’s World, in the United Kingdom. Thanks, Tom!
