  1. Awwwww… are they REALLY called Zebra Doves? I gotta go google! They sure are cute! I bet they can get pesky though! (they have that LOOK about them!) LOL!

  2. So your final alphabet pictures are for the birds. Zebra Doves what a great way to end. Thank you it has been fun.

  3. I am posting my Y and my Z tonight Quilly, is that allright?
I love the doves, never heard of Zebra doves before!

  4. Quilly – you astound me. Well done! You made excellent X, Y, and Z posts. And I learned a lot too. Zebra dove huh? Love it. Very original and imaginative.
I couldn’t possibly have joined this challenge this time round as I couldn’t have kept up daily. I haven’t enough back up of old stuff yet (well, I have, but it is hard copy, need to find it in the loft, scan it in, etc etc…)

I have found it fascinating, even if I haven’t popped in every day – I have tried to keep up and catch up!

    The one who got to T…. wouldn’t s/he be looking for a “U” now? (not “S”….) ;0)

  5. I love your Zebra Doves… How cute they are in your picture.. Quilly , thanks for being our host for this challenge… it has been a ball.. my “Z’ is up and ready…

  6. Thanks Quilly for a great project – I’m glad I joined in the fun!
These doves are cute – more fluffy looking than what I normally see!

  7. Melli — all doves are pesky and I photographed these qt the mall near the sweet treat vendors. The bird in the first photo has a bit of caramel popcorn in his beak.

    Zebra Doves

Dr. John — thank you! It has been fun.

Jientje — as long as you finish so I don’t have to take the link down! It’s been fun, hasn’t it?

Cath — I’ve astounded me! And the S was changed to yoU.

Baba — thank you. I have had a marvelous time, too. I am glad you enjoyed playing.

Carletta — I am glad you enjoyed the project. I, too, had a great time. The birds are fluffed in warning to me to back off!

Karen — the closer I got, the puffier they got ….

Juliana — they really are Zebra Doves. Honest.

  8. The feathers look like plucked artichokes. Are you sure those aren’t plucked artichokes?

  9. Well I’ve never heard of a zebra dove but it sure works well here. A great ending to a wonderful project!

  10. Doug — I’ll let you taste one and decide.

OC wants to know, is an Arty Choke a stylish hold in a full-contact martial arts demonstration?

Robert — thanks. I have had a wonderful time and am so glad you joined the group. I don’t have you in my blogroll yet, but you are definitely on my feed reader and you will be seeing more of me.
