I love the patterns created in the moving stairs. I never thought of it looking that way but I guess it does. I am always surprised afresh how looking thru the lens can change perspective. It reminds me of drawing upside down.

Nessa — I was ever so excited when I saw the gold toes!
Mar — I am not so keen n malls, but here in Hawaii they all have band stands and live performances. OC had a concert, so I went and got malled.
Melli — actually, the shoes were an accident — just a fortuitous one. I tried to take a photo of the escalator and the feet of a lady wearing spiky black high heels. Her shopping bags obscured her feet. This shot — I thought — was of only the escalator, but the gold shoes snuck in. I did crop a bit because her knee was showing, too, and I didn’t care for her blue jeans mucking up that smidgen of my shot.
As to the affair last night — we never made it. I was rear ended and we spent an hour and a half with a very friendly and charming police officer.
Amber — I took the photo from the balcony, and was hoping to catch just that look. AND, I seem to be fine this morning, fully mobile though just a tiny touch stuff. That could be stress.
Jules — see my comment to Amber. I was trying to catch that illusion of sideways mvement, and I love that it came out on the photo.
Doug — when it comes to shopping malls, there is no place like home!
