Open Doors Finale

As you know, I missed a couple of days of posting, but those doors you didn’t get to see are right here. First off:

Karaoke Shack, UH @ Manoa

There is a video posted on YouTube of a group sing-a-long.  It looks like fun.

And behind this door you will find .....
And behind this door you will find .....
OCeallaigh hard at work.
O'Ceallaigh, hard-working Amoeba.

And, for the grand finale, a closer look at The Center for Korean Studies:

The Main Doors
The Dragon Bridge Door

And still more detail!

Posted for Jientje’s Photo Challenge called “Opening Doors“
The idea is to post pictures of doors, or details of doors.
It has to be your own picture, no stealing from Mr Google!
That’s the only rule!

Thanks Jientje, it was a great challenge!

I think I am going to give Robert’s “Show Me” Photo Project a try.
Check it out!

Quilly is the pseudonym of Charlene L. Amsden, who lives on The Big Island in Hawaii. When she is not hanging out with Amoeba, she is likely teaching or sewing. Or she could be cooking, taking photographs, or even writing. But if she's not doing any of that, she's probably on Facebook or tinkering with her blog.

  1. OC looks totally engrossed (which is always a GOOD sign for a scientist) and those Korean Dragon Bridge doors – Wow! Such detail, such colour. “Eye popping” is so appropriate!
Glad you posted these. It would be such a shame if they were missed.

  2. Great doors Quill! I wish I wasn’t sitting under a wall of windows and skylights so that I could see them a bit better — I’m sure those Korean studies doors are far prettier than the way I’m seeing them! But hey… at least I get to see them!!!

  3. Love your finale Melli! The Karoke shack is a hoot. The Korean Center is so colorful. oh no! another photo challenge…can I resist, I don’t know.
