  1. A couple of ideas come to mind….I never know if I am on the right track, though, til I see the answer.

Love the new header! Is that the skyline where you live, or just a random city?

Barbara H.’s last blog post..Look, Ye Saints

  2. I say snazzy too! Great new look.

Emailed a guess but probably way off beam and definitely way too late….

  3. BAH…what an answer…that’s what the wine bottle was in there for…too ABSTRACT i tell ya…I even set my alarm to make sure I would be up and see this immediately…so much for that now I’m tired for being up so late…All your fault Quilly!!!

    Thom’s last blog post..Manic Monday – Plant

  4. Thom — thank you.

    Bill — thank you.

Jane — almost everybody came close!

Betty — and you a mother! Did your kids never whine?

Barbara — I have no idea whose skyline that is, but it isn’t ours! I won’t be keeping that photo if I can figure out how to change it.

Melli — drive safe. Don’t waste too much time on it, Lisa got it almost instantly.

Mar — we’ll send search and rescure

Cherie — what!? Share with us!

Amber — too early for alcohol, but never too early for whine.

Nessa — of course, that’s the way it always goes.

Jientje — actually, he was first — in the emails we exchanged last night, but I guess he hasn’t read all the comments on my CHANGES post.

Caryl — go enjoy your grandkids, I am certain some wine whine will come to you.

Cath — the only time it’s too late to guess is after the answers are posted!

Dr. John — sometimes that’s sensible.

Barbara — often the Wacky Wild Guesses are my favorites.

    Thom — pft.

  5. I knew I got there quickly, but I figured I got it wrong. The whine/wine was pretty obvious to me (you’d understand why if you’d met my kids), but the rest was iffy.

Lisa’s last blog post..Hearts and Lace

  6. Whine List, I never even clued in with the Wine Bottles next to the List. I think what fooled me is I never figured you for a Wine Drinker, or a drinker of any alcoholic beverage.

I can’t see you walking into a Pub and everyone yelling Quilly, now if a bus pulls up and stops, Yes. 😉

    Bill’s last blog post..Holidays

  7. Lisa — you’re the only one who got it completely right! That doesn’t surprise me though. It was an Amoeba pun, and his usually give people fits.

Capsun — you’re still young yet! What are you doing with all of that sleep?!

Juliana — I’m glad you like the layout. I’m sorry the puns escape you.

Bill — I have been known to have a drink from time to time. I drink wine. I drink beer. I seldom ever have mixed drinks, but only because they are almost always made stronger than I prefer them. I am NOT a bar sort of person, though there is a sports bar here in Hawaii Kai that has a mind-boggling hamburger menu. OC and I stop by a couple of times a month for a burger and a beer. The fish and chips are pretty good, too!

  8. Cherie — that’s where I got it! I got to see the Smother’s Brothers in concert in Vegas and I laughed so hard I couldn’t stay in my chair and my stomach and ribs hurt and I thought I was going to need a paramedic because I couldn’t breathe — sort of like this sentence!
