    1. Thom — go back and take a look at the NAME of that other site. Most of the folks here will remember when Amoeba and I used to take turns posting over there — and I still kept this place going.

AND, I wouldn’t HAVE to tell people to go check out Amoeba’s blog if they’d just stick him on their feed reader!

    1. Poor, Nessa. Amoeba has the same problem with the printer driver. He doesn’t know if the computer eats it or what, but he has to reinstall it often.

      1. I lisdtened here at work (shush, don’t tell.) That’s one fine tootin’ man you got. I commented, too. Everyone keeps telling me to get a new computer. I am missing two keys and it is about six or seven years old now which is ancient in computer years but I can’t bring myself to make another change.

  2. This was sooooooo great! I went to enjoy many of their other numbers too — Girl From Impanema has always been one of my favorites — but they did sO many good ones! Stardust… I Get a Kick Out of You ( I think Dean Martin sang that one)… oh they are all good! Charlie is wonderful – and so is his band!

    1. Melli — I knew you would love it, but it’s actually Stanton’s band, you know. And if you want to know why it’s Stanton’s band, watch Malaguena.

  3. Wow..I loved it! So…when OC is in Friday Harbor does he play with anyone there? That would be really fun to see 😉

    1. Amoeba is usually too involved in teaching while at Friday Harbor to have time for formal music-ing, but to unwind he takes his horn out on the point most every night about 9 p.m. and practices for an hour. The moon, a couple harbor seals, and I enjoy it, and every so often a student or two wanders out.
