      But I got it because a lid covers a pan. Simple as that. It covers. And is covering a ring. So cover-ring.
      It’s only because I have been on holiday. Next week I’ll be my usual useless self! lol

    In my neck of the woods a cover is a blanket or a quilt. 🙂
    I’d have liked it better without the plate – that didn’t figure in as part of the equation at all.

  22. ooops…I just now turned on the computer to check email. We were up late last night after the baseball game and I wanted to get as much done in the yard this morning as I could before it got hot. Hubby went to his parents for the daily hassle…that actually didn’t happen today. While he was gone I dug some ferns to move them to the back flowerbed and my glasses fell off. I remembered thinking I’ll get those in a minute right after I get this planted. By that time I’d forgotten. After I’ll looked everywhere with no luck, hubby got home and I tearfully told him what happened. We started looking and he found them almost as soon as we got to one of the three places I’d been working. That was such luck…I told him thank you so much.

    I was trying to get the pun and was thinking something under glass…but really didn’t know.
