    1. Jientje — and I don’t think they’ll still be blooming when you’re here. I know you can’t tell from the photo, but that is actually a blooming tree. It is from the legume family (see the pods in the photo?) and is really quite tall.

  1. Wow. You’re so lucky to live there (don’t tell Amoeba I said so, but still… lol ). I’m glad you’re enjoying those tropical flowers while you’ve got them! Gladder still when you share. It’s beautiful.

  2. Amanda – -I don’t know the name. My other half is a botanist and he says, “It’s a legume tree. There are hundreds of them. No, I don’t know the name of that particular one.”

  3. Hi Quilly, yes you will miss those pretty flowers. You won’t miss the year-round heat though. I’m with your partner, I don’t ever want to shovel another scoop of snow either! 🙂 I tell people that I left my shovels up north, one in Nebraska and the other in New Hampshire. And that they can have them if they wish. You can have one if you can find it.
I also looked at the Somerset, it fits nicely. I would think about enclosing that covered back porch if allowed by deed restrictions. And I’m with you, the keeping room is the room to have. I have a corner back bedroom for my ‘office’ and it is sooooo nice to see out back and to feel secluded from the rest of the house. 🙂
Happy RT! Thank you for peeking in on me again. I tell people that my other blog isn’t as corny.

Are you thinking of living there, Indiana, or is that a part of the commercial?

.-= Jim´s last blog ..This and that — Ruby (Red) Tuesday — old, not as old, naughty, and bad =-.

    1. Jim — we won’t be needing snow shovels with our move, which is to the Northwestern coast of Washington State, so we’ll probably want to live just a little closer than Indiana — but I would really love that Somerset house!.
