Punny Monday #36

Welcome to Punny Monday. Every Sunday evening about midnight Hawaii time I post an original photo and ask my readers to figure out what was going on in my brain (or Amoeba’s) when he/I/we made it. If you need a kick start, spend a few moments watching the slide show at the top of my right hand sidebar.

Punny Monday

What noun does this photo represent? EMAIL your answers and leave a comment designed to either help or confuse your fellow game players.  The first contestant to EMAIL me the right answer wins a featured link in my blog which will display until next Monday when we’ll play this little game again. Enjoy.

PLEASE, do not write your guess in the comments. It spoils the game for the other players. Your guesses will be shared when the game ends. Oh, and just because someone announces they’ve won, doesn’t mean that they have. Please keep guessing until I post the answers!

        *BANGING HEAD AGAINST THE WALL!!!*

  1. I agree with the previous comments. Either way, I’m playing again this week, and that’s a good thing. Usually I don’t have a clue! LOL!!

    1. Doug — I should be! I measured in pinball my first year in college (which explains why there was a 13 year gap between my first year and my second year).

      1. Susan — I’ve heard rumors that Doug isn’t good for a lot of other things (keep in mind that most of those rumors he started himself) but he can always be counted on for clever!

    1. Jane — it could be because you’re too wholesome and innocent. 😉 Some of us had rowdy childhoods. Some of us are still a bit rowdy!

  2. Ohhhhhhhhhhh… MAYBE I have it… MAYBE… better late than never…. I could still be way off though…. we’ll see… more mail comin’ your way…

        1. Babara — in 1977 my college advisor made certain that I understood, pinball lead to much worse, hard core vises and I was on a steep path to hell! Wouldn’t he be surprised to see me now?

  3. Whoa! I’m surprised! I kept thinking the name or number on the golf ball or whatever it was stuck on (is that gum?) had to have something to do with it and I couldn’t put it all together. I’m glad I sent the first answer that came to mind right away!

    1. Barbara — the gum is there because the ball wouldn’t stay still and Amoeba wouldn’t let me stick the pin in his golf ball. He is not willing to sacrifice everything for art! As to the writing on the ball — I often include extra details. I like to confuse. 😉

      1. The name didn’t bother me at all — but I kept trying to figure out what the green stuff was for! The green stuff was definitely muddlin’ my brain!
        .-= Melli´s last blog ..Prayer Drill =-.

        1. Melli — Amoeba reacted to the thought of me poking a pin in the golf ball pretty much the way I would have expected him to react if I’d poked it into him!

          1. I’m so sorry Quilly. I had NO idea.

*how in the WORLD is a pinhole gonna hurt a golf ball?*
(to be followed by 20 minute dissertation on golf ball aerodynamics by Amoeba…)
            .-= Melli´s last blog ..Some of a Meme… =-.

          2. Melli — Amoeba says he feared I would hurt myself. Golf balls are made to withstand constant high speed whacking with a solid steel club at about 4 thousand pounds of pressure. He figured that paltry pin would just glance off and poke into me! He was afraid of where it might poke — and probably how much noise I’d make about it. 😉

  4. That deaf, dumb and blind kid sure plays a mean pinball!

I always try and get as many possibilities as I can because I know you think outside the square.
