Apartment Hunting Online
When I graduated from college and moved to Las Vegas, I found my apartment online. Â I took a virtual tour on the web and rented it sight unseen — yet knew exactly what it looked like. Â I had the electricity, cable and phone all installed before I arrived. Â I walked in the door, flipped the lights on, Â hooked a couple of wires to my TV and had 103 channels at my service. Â I plugged in the phone, got a dial tone, and called my sisters so they’d know I arrived safely.
Gotta love the internet.

I really do think we live in an incredible age where we can hunt on line for things we need without getting up from our chair. I love it. It saves gas, too.

We still don’t use the Internet as optimized as that in Indonesia. But I hope we’ll get there soon. It would be a great time saver.
