Opportunity Pending
Amoeba has the opportunity to go to Belgium this Summer and work with a colleague. This is something he very much wants to do. As you can imagine, I want to go with him. Even though we don’t have any set dates yet, I have been checking out Cheap International Flights.
There is no question whether or not Amoeba can go. It is a business trip and he has access to business funds for just such instances. The problem is, I don’t fit on the expense account. My passport and I really want to go, so we really need to ramp up our money making, but if I get a job, I certainly won’t be able to take six weeks off for traveling, now will I? Alas!

Oh, you poor thing, what a dilemma! Possible solution: Tell your prospective employer about your travel plans. That’s what David’s brother does when he goes in for interviews. He is a consultant and vacations in Hawaii for 2 weeks in August with his family.

You can´t pass this opportunity up! What a chance to see Europe! Even if you get a job, maybe they will let you take a few weeks off, that would still be worth it.

There are two solutions, or you follow the advise of Gigi Hawai which is not bad at all if you really want to work right now, or you look for work after your trip !
Anyway you know where I am living ! Should I buy a red carpet ? I can use it after your visit as scratch carpet for my 4 cats.
