I’d planned to donate Maya’s cord blood when she was born but her somewhat, err, unorthodox, birth in the backseat of my car (with a midwife, at the taxi stand outside the hospital – it’s a very long story) and the subsequent chaos put an end to that plan.
Robin — you need to write that story up and tell it for Maya’s next birthday!
