2000 Posts

This is my 2000th published post.  I began blogging on June 1st, 2006.  I would like to take the time to say thank you to each and every one of you who read this blog.  Some of you (Doug) have been with me since day one.  And of course, Tina, who was with me BEFORE day one, back in my chat-room era.  Tina was blogging long before I understood the concept and she is the one who inspired me to start, so it’s all her fault.

Then there were a whole host of folks, like Nessa, Bill, Melli, Polona, and the late Dr. John along with his wonderful wife, Betty, who have been around since the first few months — and probably others I am missing who came and stayed.  Please know I love you and didn’t mean to leave you out.

And, of course, there is Amoeba.  He and I met online.  Our paths first crossed at Doug’s blog, and then at the blog of the now retired Sar.  Blogging has played a major role in my life these last few years.  You are all, each and every one of you, important to me whether you’ve been with me since the first few months or you’ve only been here the last few days.  Without all of you, there would have been no reason to write two posts, let alone 2000.

Thanks for joining me on the journey.  I hope you are all still here for the next milestone. I know I can’t do it without you!

  2. 2,000 posts since June 2006? You have been working over time. I started mine on Nov. 20, 2006 and have done 1293 posts.I generally post just once a day, rarely twice a day. It’s enough.

  3. Congratulations Quilly! I´m glad I found you through Melli and think it´s always interesting, what you write about. I´m always amazed at how many posts you bring out.

  9. Holy smokes! 2000?? I’m only at (checking… just a sec… wait…) 230 posts since last May. At my current rate I will never have that many in 4 years. *bows to the master*

    Congrats Quilly!!! I have to agree with you – special connections are made through our blogs, and our lives have been changed as a result. How lucky are we?

  12. Congrats on 2.000 posts! I found you through your comments at Melli’s as well. I don’t always read all the comments on everyone’s blog, but somehow yours always caught my eye.

  13. Thats very good Quilly. It’s amazing how time flies and its true
    by sharing thoughts every day you get to make a lot of friends and have someone to talk to, share ideas and have them give advice and vs and read some of your stuff lol
    I mean thats why you blog right?
