My Thoughts:
This study lends itself equally well to studying alone or in a group. I am studying on my own and find the thought provoking questions and activities more than enough to stimulate me to think deeply about the subject matter. Written as a workbook, the pages provide spaces for me to write my thoughts. A few times these spaces have been too small, but for the most part I find them generous enough.

One of my favorite features of the Tyndale NLT Life Application Bible Studies is that they include the entire text one is to study — not just the scripture, but all the notes, scholastic references and maps from 2 Corinthians NLT are included in the study manual. That means I can highlight text and write notes wherever I please. It also means that when I travel, I can take my Bible Study with me in one light, highly portable volume. Better still, it means that I can keep my thoughts while engaged in this study together with the verses it applies to, in one place for future reference. This was my first NLT Life Application Bible Study, but it won’t be my last!

  1. We have just finished a three-month study of (last lesson on 2 Corintians is August 29) 1 and 2 Corinthians in our Adult Sunday school. I used Swindol’s study guide as a help in teaching. This one might have been nice. Next three months is Ephisians. There isn’t one in your series for that yet.
