Pick One: Peanut Butter or Choclate?
Today’s question at, That’s My Answer! is Peanut Butter or Chocolate?
Apparently I am supposed to choose. Ha! Somebody tell that to my Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups! There is nothing in this entire world more yummy than chocolate — unless it is chocolate and peanut butter together! Do you remember this?
Of course, if they must be separated and I can only have one or the other, 9 times out of 10 I will choose chocolate — dark chocolate. Yum! (In case you were wondering what to send me for Christmas.)Â 😉

Reese’s might be too rich for me, but I would definitely go for dark chocolate!
Gigi — Reese’s PB Cups are a little on the rich side. One certainly can’t over-indulge without getting sugar shock!
Reese’s is possibly the greatest invention of a candy bar ever! But yes, dark chocolate is the best option. 😉
My only consistent candy “like” from childhood to date is Reese’s PB Cups and (on a lesser scale) Butterfinger candy bars. The two flavors together are magical.
Yep, I remember these ads. And now they have dark chocolate Reese’s!
Linda — I was so excited when the dark chocolate Reese’s came out, but they disappointed me. I don’t think the dark chocolate compliments the PB as well as milk chocolate does — but then it could just be that I don’t want anybody messing with my comfort food!
Definitely Reese’s Peanut Butter cups. As I put on That’s My Answer, if you HAVE to choose, Chocolate is a choice (I prefer milk chocolate), but peanut butter is a necessity.
Bev — I prefer milk chocolate on my PB cups for sure. Dark chocolate is a solo indulgence — although it is pretty tasty with almonds and when wrapped around cherries!
I do remember the “You got chocolate in my peanut butter…” ads, but I don’t know if I had seen this particular one. There is no better flavor combination in the world than peanut butter and chocolate! But if I HAD to chose just one, it would be chocolate.
Barbara — I went to Youtube and searched “Reese’s Commercials” then spent about an hour watching videos! LOL!
It’s like Sophie’s choice.
I have to say Chocolate!! I am not a huge peanut butter fan.
