No Mojo

I got nothing. I don’t know if I am on the edge of a cold, or what. I am not running a fever. I don’t feel particularly ill, but I am incredibly lethargic and blah. My arms are heavy. My feet drag, and trying to think is like swimming uphill in molasses. I don’t have a headache, but there is a “heaviness” I can’t quite explain.

Maybe it is the weather. The rain stopped. The sun came out — and the temperature dropped. Maybe my spirits fled with it. Who knows? The end result is — I”m incredibly tired. Not sleepy. Just tired.

I feel like I tried to move a mountain and buried myself instead. I want a hot bath and a good book and rest. If I’m feeling better tomorrow, I’ll come out to play. For now, g’night.

  1. Could it be the After-Holidays blaahs? I’m kind of sitting here not wanting to get on with projects that need to be completed, too.

On the other hand, you could very well be coming down with a bug. So many people have been hit with something these last couple months. Do REST and recuperate. Everybody and everything can wait.

  2. I was also wondering if it my be post-holiday adjustments. I thought I was going to dig in and get so much done this week with everyone back at school and work, but I felt really fuzzy-brained and couldn’t seem to get enough sleep. I am hoping my next week and your tomorrow will be better. Hope you’re not coming down with something.

  3. I hope you’re mojo gets back soon. This is exactly how I feel sometimes, and I have no idea why. Wishing you a wonderful weekend.

  4. Sounds like you’re sickening for something to me! I hope whatever it is doesn’t materialise and you’re feeling your old self soon. x

  5. Nothing is a real tricky desease ! A flew or a cold is much better, at least you know what you have. Shuffle the mountain away and hop in a hot bath !

  6. Uh, oh — sounds like the beginning of the flu. Take it easy, since that is what your body is asking for, and I hope you feel better soon.

  7. Sounds like the beginning of what seems to be a nasty virus around here. I have been taking zicam and emergen-c and airborne all week. Drinking Roobios tea and a herbal tea that has a bunch of respiratory friendly herbs in it. Cause that’s exactly how I feel right now.

I got 2 tickets to the Christmas Ball from the library today (it was sent over from another library in the county) so i think I’m headed to bed.

  8. Sounds like something a hot bath and a good nights rest can cure. Perhaps you are coming down off your holiday high. I know I am. Just hope it’s nothing more. Thinking of you and wishing you well.
