I love their color, their little bell shape and their fancy leopard skin spots.  I took this particular photo by the side of the road in Friday Harbor, WA, and I actually laid down in the ditch to get the shot.  Intent on what I was doing, I didn&#8217;t know I was no longer alone until a woman jogging by came to a screeching halt and tried to help me up.  That was very kind of her, but I didn&#8217;t <em>want<\/em> up!  When I finally convinced her I was fine, she wandered off muttering to herself about weirdos and eccentrics.
