Punny Monday

What phrase does this photo represent? EMAIL your answers and leave a comment designed to either help or confuse your fellow game players.

The first contestant to EMAIL me the right answer wins a featured link in my blog which will display until next Monday when we’ll play this little game again. Enjoy.

Use the EMAIL link.  Some of you are sending your guess to my old address and I don’t find them in time for the contest!

PLEASE, do not write your guess in the comments. It spoils the game for the other players. Your guesses will be shared when the game ends.

  1. Well, how come I only see them early when I haven’t got a clue as to the answer. The ones I get instantly I always see after the fact or late in the day. Sigh. Still fun. I’ll be curious to know the answer. I sent you three totally stupid suggestions.

  2. Melli — first time for everything!

Raven — your first guess came very, very close. Your second guess was brilliant, but it was a noun, not a phrase.

Jane — that’s nice since the last few weeks the contest has been over almost before it began.

Juliana — as is the way with all things puzzling.

Jientje — I think Music Hall was a brialliant answer — except that was my diningroom. This house is so small it has no hall. AND, Music Hall is a noun (place).

    Shelly — congratulations!

  3. These are just so good. I just cannot get them! I really could not think of even a guess this time.

Keep reminding me though. One day, this dense head will work it out…

  4. Good one Quilly.
    Way to go Shelly!

I’m going to be away from the PC for awhile and just wanted to come by to wish you and OC a Happy Holiday! You are one of the few I don’t have to say ‘keep warm’. 🙂
    Merry Christmas!

  5. Amoeba, that seems like a very level headed slant on the idea.

Cath — every fool has his/her day? 😉

Dr. John — didn’t I send you an email so you could be on time? And at this late hour you don’t have to have a clue, the answer is posted ….

Carletta — Mele Kalikimaka. Have a safe, warm and joyous holiday!
