I Want My Stuff!

You realize that while I am here in the fog and chill suffering a mega head-cold, most of my worldly possessions are taking in a leisurely Pacific cruise?  In fact my car has just completed it’s second such voyage. I will pick it and Amoeba up in Seattle on Thursday.

In the meantime I am here with things to do, and no way to do them.  For instance, just before it got packed up, my printer was wailing about being out of ink. Well, I just found this great place to get Replacement Dell Ink Cartridges, but I don’t have access to my printer and can’t remember what to order.  On top of that, I’d really like to print my new insurance paperwork, but — I repeat — my printer is on a leisurely Pacific cruise.

Alas.

Pass me that box of Puffs Plus, will you?

  1. Aaww, I hope you feel better soon, with or without your stuff!

I’m looking at an Atlantic ‘cruise’ for my stuff — never thought about the delay. And mine will have to go through customs. CRAP. I’ll be taking notes while you miss stuff LOL

  2. I hope your stuff enjoys its Pacific cruise and arrives ready to behave!
When our van made its first Atlantic voyage, it spent the next 5 months being allergic to Europe. By the time it outgrew those allergies, I was 7 months pregnant with kid #3 and barely able to crawl into the backseat of my husband’s economy car to buckle 2 little boys in their carseats. Maybe it was trouble from the Panama Canal?
Hope it helps to know that I’ve “been there.”
    Soon, my friend, SOON!

  3. Tsk Tsk Tsk Q. You knew how long it was going to take long before you shipped it. Not to be a butt head or anything but just the other day a Horizon container ship ran into a huge storm and 6, count ’em 6 containers went over board. The ship took a beating and was a mess when it got into Honolulu. So if it were me I would tell my printer to enjoy a leisurely cruise across the ocean blue to the Pacific Northwest. I’m sorry you are feeling so crappy. Get better soon. 🙂
