My love is suffering his birthday today. I do think he likes his gift. I gave him a hand-crank emergency radio with am/fm/weather band tuning, a flashlight and an emergency cell phone charger. He immediately cranked it up and listened to the news over breakfast.

I tried to talk him into not going to work but he is much too responsible for that. He is leaving a bit early though so we can go to his favorite seafood restaurant for dinner before play practice. He must sing and dance in preparation of the May opening of My Fair Lady. Tonight they are doing a full custom parade.

And, in not birthday related news, I am feeling a bit better. I spent most of yesterday still and slept all night last night. I’m not 100% yet, but am definitely on the mend.

    Happy Day Amoeba – even if you don’t like celebrating them, you can at least enjoy the fact that you have someone who loves you very much to share every day with!
