Microfiction Monday #38

I’d like to dedicate this Microfiction Monday to Thom and Susan. I had a great time while they were on the island with me and I wish I could have gone on to Seattle with them, too.

Susan from Stony River, welcomes us to Microfiction Monday,
where a picture paints just 140 characters.

If you’d like to join us, stop by Susan’s, pick up the picture prompt,
compose your story in 140 character (or less), post it,
and sign in at Susan’s place, then commence in the sharing!

“Is that an iPhone?”

“Yeah. That big guy just dropped it.”

“Shouldn’t you give it back to him?”

“Sure. After I finish this bomb threat.”

    • Barbara — it’s kind of an “in” joke. Thom is a VERY big guy and he loves his iPhone. Since he and Susan were at the Seattle Space Needle when this pic was taken, I trusted they’d know the girls supposedly had Thom’s phone.

  1. Bravo~and I’ll bet you didn’t know you struck so close to home over here. Our Humble High School’s Unibomber from last Fall sent in his threat on someone else’s phone…

    • Gattina — I wrote this little story to make fun of Thom. He and Susan were at the Space Needle when this photo was taken. Thom has a fixation with his iPhone. He loves it. It is always with him. He is also a very big guy. So, the girls have “the big guy’s iPhone” worse, they are using it to do something horrible!

    • Akelamalu — well, if I know the big guy, she won’t be happy when he finds out what she’s done with his phone, and he’ll make certain she’s taught the finer points of the law.

  2. grrr… i know i commented on this one last night (or tried to- i didn’t get any error messages) although right after that i was unable to navigate the site and access the comments section
