Jacob’s degree program required an algebra class. He petitioned the dean’s office demanding a release from the class without penalty. The dean wanted to know why.
“I can’t take algebra,†Jacob explained, “Because exponents are against my religion.â€
“That’s preposterous!†The dean snapped.
“I am an atheist,†Jacob explained. “I don’t believe in higher powers.â€

Eric — math jokes are the only thing that got me through college algebra!
ROFLMBO!!! Ohhhhh noooooo…. algebra could have made me a CONVERT!
Melli — I think the reason I succeeded at college Algebra is because I had learned to wholly believe in and trust my higher power — God!
Hoho, great play on words Quilly!
Thanks, Akelamalu. I love words and playing with them.

Moondustwriter — no sale. Prof says one doesn’t need God to do math. Well, at least he said that until he met me.
Witty clever gal nice write ff55er, now tell me please did it work? for if it did, I can use that excuse in grad school,
Joanny — you can try it, but you’d best go ahead, buy the math book and secure a tutor.
