Punny Monday 11.05.16

Welcome to Punny Monday. This is a fun little guessing game meant to spark your imagination and tickle your punny bone. Every Monday I post an original photo and ask my readers to figure out what was going on in my brain (or Amoeba’s) when he/I/we made it. Posting time varies so every time zone occasionally gets a fair shot at being first to see the game.

Here is the image you need to base your guess on:

What phrase does this photo represent? EMAIL your answers and leave a comment designed to either help or confuse your fellow game players. The first contestant to EMAIL me the right answer wins a featured link in my blog which will display until next Monday when we’ll play this little game again. Enjoy.

PLEASE, do not write your guess in the comments. It spoils the game for the other players. Your guesses will be shared when the game ends. Oh, and just because someone announces they’ve won, doesn’t mean that they have. Please keep guessing until I post the answers!

Quilly is the pseudonym of Charlene L. Amsden, who lives on The Big Island in Hawaii. When she is not hanging out with Amoeba, she is likely teaching or sewing. Or she could be cooking, taking photographs, or even writing. But if she's not doing any of that, she's probably on Facebook or tinkering with her blog.

  1. I got an idea, so will send it in.

Just wondering where your Quilldancing Assignment for 15 May is. Mine is up and posted for all the world to see.

  2. I think I might have the answer. Maybe. One never knows for sure til the answer is revealed. Wondering if I beat Bill. 🙂

  3. PFFFT….Here I’m gone for who knows how long and when I return I see this…Ya know what…Bite Me!!! That’s my guess ROFLMAO

  4. I have sent my guess under protest. I didn’t receive notification this was up and generally agree with Thom even if I have no idea what he’s talking about.

        1. And can you believe this my guess didn’t even make the list pffft. Well I’m back so hang on to your diddy bag LOL

          1. My guess didn’t make it either. We now see how Quilly treats dissidents. What’s Chinese for “Quill?”

        1. .
Thank you, Karen. 🙂 It was a fun write.

Quilly, if it’s gone, then it can be drunk. I was thinking an empty glass
tipped over. I know you like to know how I was thinking.
Goofy? 🙂 Skewed perhaps. I.e. tipped.
          ..

  5. Ha! Very clever. I arrived late and got distracted. Don’t know if I would have gotten it in any case, but I love it.
