Ya gotta love big ol’ farm tractors! When I was a kid… boy was that a long time ago… but our school playground had some AIRPLANE tires! They were about 1/3 burried in the dirt, standing upright. We kids LOVED those things! They were fun to climb on, but in the winter when we went out for recess, we little girls would climb inside — we were so well protected from the wind! But there was always “quarrels” over who would get IN!
Quilly, great final shot! Love the Tiki torches too! 🙂
Definitely Punny Monday! 🙂
It was fun, wasn’t it?
I enjoyed every minute of it!
great title for the occasion.
but i liked it! i liked the black!
Whoa! That’s a big tire. Like your torches, too, and the randomness of the car parts on the beach–especially the seat.
Melli — when I was a kid there was a gas station not too far from our house that had tires half buried in the dirt. They were often full of water and home to polywogs and frogs.
Mary — thanks.
Carletta — OC and I are a punny pair.
Juliana — I liked your’s too.
Holly — so did I. Maybe we’ll like the next challenge, too.
Jeanne — thank you. I was so hoping those car parts on the beach would shock my viewers as much as they shocked me, but it so didn’t happen.
An excellent title to an excellent shot. Wow – it’s ages since I’ve been here. What have I been doing? Too many word games…. ;0)
Cath — This is one of those shots that baffle me. I like it. A lot. But it’s just a tractor. WTF?
