What noun (thing) does this photo represent? EMAIL your answers and leave a comment designed to either help or confuse your fellow game players.

The first contestant to EMAIL me the right answer wins a featured link in my blog which will display until next Monday when we’ll play this little game again. Enjoy.

PLEASE, do not write your guess in the comments. It spoils the game for the other players. Your guesses will be shared when the game ends.

  1. My quess is so far off base and I’ve been staring and thinking about this for hours…brain freeze on this one 🙁

  2. My brain cells must be on vacation because I haven’t been able to come up with the answer in several weeks now!!!

  3. I don’t know how I missed this, wouldn’t have got it anyway, and I spent a good 5 minutes trying to work it out before I saw the answers were up!

  4. To the Players!

Holly — congrats! You did it — and while crying over the Dr. Pepper! Come visit and I’ll meet you at the airport with a frosty one in my hand.

Capsun — what on earth were you doing up at 4 A.M.?!

Doug — I’d like to thank you for telling OC he had a 50% rating on his puns — now he’s going for 100% and I am the victim recipient.

Carletta — Melli might have thought it was easy, but you made the winner’s list!

ArtsyGEL, Melli, Raven, Bill — CANNED MUSIC hadn’t even crossed my mind, but it certainly was a reasonable guess and clearly fit the photo. I made an honorary category just for yous.

ArtsyGEL — your enthusiasm is appreciated. Keep guessing because it keeps me smiling — oh, and don’t ask me not to publish the best ones!

Thom — I can tell you’ve listened to Dr. Pepper in the past. He really doesn’t have much to say …. 😉

ALL — Thank you for playing!

  5. Holly — what’s your mailing address and how much would it cost to ship a can of Diet Dr. Pepper to Wales?

GEL — I like your guesses when you’re sleepy and not firing on all cylinders!

Dr. John — if you were a bit more worldly …

Melli — it wasn’t 😉 BUT, it was a dang good guess and one I should have anticipated.

Raven — both your guess and your comment were just a hair short ….

Thom — it takes more guts to guess when you’re sure you’re wrong than when you’re sure you’re right! Thank you for playing!

Carletta — please note, you made the winner’s list.

Bill — hmm, and it was almost the right one!

Jane — but I missed your guesses. I love the way your mind works – or doesn’t wor … ahem, I’ll be quiet now.

Bazza — you didn’t guess this because that stuff you listen to isn’t really music! 😉

Shelly – until my brain wears out!

  6. LOL! Well, this one really all depends what dialect you come from. WE do not say POP — we say soda — but all of Dennis’ northern relatives DO say POP – I shoulda thought of it as an alternative!

  7. Melli — OC told me I was going to cause dissension between the “pop” people and the “soda” people. Hold your cursor over the photo, you should get a pop-up (no pun intended, but it makes a nice bonus), what does it say?

    Carletta — LOL!

  8. Jientje — you say the nicest things!

Ian — here’s a strategy — brainstorm everything you can about the picture, then look at the words/ideas you’ve come up with and see if they can be combined to make something new.

Juliana — no Dr. Pepper in Ljubljana?

  9. Damn…that was so easy now that I see the answer. Congrats to the Winner. I loved all the guesses. I’m a Pepper, Your a Pepper. Wouldn’t ya like to be a Pepper too? No I say…I want to be a Quilly Punny Monday Winner LOL…

  10. Quilly, I had a feeling you’d publish anyway. Afterall, I *did* submit them. 🙂 I love this game more than the “blog quizzes” out there.

Congrats to Holly! (and to those who guessed the right answer!)

  11. I’da never got that one…in Texas everything like that is a Coke. Dr. Pepper, Sprite, Coke…all called the same…coke. Would ya like a coke or somethin’? 🙂
