  1. Whoof!! Thanks fur visiting me tonight.

Mom fell asleep in her armchair waiting fur Punny Monday, so I took over the computer. I don’t gots a clue what it is, but Paco thinks he might know, so will send you a email befur Mom wakes up and finds me letting the parrot play woof her computer. DW chewed a key right off here one day, and has damaged lots a stuff woof her beak and chewing. Woof at you later.

  2. Silly dog… I can read you know!!

Hi Quilly! So tell me, why did midnight your time used to be 3am my time, and now is 2am my time?? We haven’t had a time change here… have you had one in Hawaii already?? I look forward to when we have a time change and longer days.

I think I will have to go sleep on this one. If Paco’s guess isn’t right I am like Reba and don’t have a clue as to what it could be.

  3. I’m at a loss on this also. It’s the cold weather and it froze my brain. LOL and no Alice we don’t ever change our clocks here tick tock tick tock

  4. OK, I’ve spent all the brainpower I have this morning and I feel like I’m close. But if keep trying there will be nothing for me to post with.

  5. Not a thought in my head (not unusual, alas). I will ponder in hopes of coming up with even an idea for an incorrect guess.

  6. :O
No idea…as always! but at least this is the kind of shot I can have early in the morning, since I assume that’s milk in there 🙂
Maybe I need a tall glass of milk to think more clearly…

  7. Silly me! As usual the picture makes none of my brain gears work….until I see the answer that someone else comes up with. Then I will scold myself for missing such a simple thing.

  8. Well, that didn’t last long. The Hawaii clock says 8amish and my clock says 12noonish, I’m in Central time. So is there really only 4 hours difference? Seemed longer when I was there and espcially coming back. Oy!

I’m getting my trusty globe with the time thingy on top and have a look.

  9. Reba — you and your siblings behave!

Alice — you must have changed to Daylight Savings Time. We don’t. Our time stays the same year round.

Thom — it really isn’t all that cold (she says while wrapped from head to toe in a snug fleece blankey).

Gel — and only an ounce of guesses at that — well short of your regular gallon!

Jane — and it told you what it was right on the side of the measuring vial!

Doug — the idea of Punny Monday is to start everyone’s brains — you know, rev them up. IF you’re at the end of your reserves on Monday morning, I really worry about the remainder of the week!

Jeff — sorry! And this one was so easy!

Melli — “off” you were! This one was just too obvious. You are much better with the obscure.

Raven — stop pondering and smote yourself upon the forehead for not getting this!

Mar — it is amazing how often the person claiming complete bewilderment then sends in the correct answer within just a few minutes. Was it the glass of milk that did it?

Jules — let the scolding commence.

Thom — you could have pulled out your baby laptop, showed the picture to everybody on your bus, and solicited answers — oh, except you guessed last night, so it was just you and the dogs, huh? They weren’t much help. I guess.

Amber — I assure you, we haven’t lost or gained an hour over night. Our time is constant here. I have heard wild things about Texas, though. Maybe you had a major flux there. 😉

  10. Amber — we share the same day until midnight your time, then for just a wee bit you are a few hours ahead. When Daylight Savings Time ends you are going to have to recalculate, because our time here will not change.

  11. It must have been the milk, lol!! It made me speak out loud and then I thought I had an answer.
YEAHHHH, this could be once in a lifetime, you know 🙂

  12. I am wayyyy too late despite the reminder (yes I did get it, worked out I had another two hours to go till midnight Hawaii time and then promptly forgot.)

To console myself I KNOW I wouldn’t even come close this time.

  13. I never would have guessed. Darn. I have a real paucity of images to help decipher these things. I think the apanthropinization of my brain has just gone too far. I stand deep in the weald where I have no gravid thoughts.
If I only had a zither I could set this all to music and sing it on my blog.

  14. Mar — that’s how I thought of this Punny Monday. I said, “I need something that will measure an ounce.” Oc said, “What?” I said, “An ounce.” He said, “Announce what?” Then I ran across the room, hugged him, kissed him, told him I loved him, and jetted off to the store so I could finish my recipe and make this Punny Monday!

Melli — but it was written right on the front of the glass!

    Nessa — fun!

Cath — this answer is so easy it’s obvious!

Jane — but you’re in good company!

Thom — that Y chromosome is really limiting.

Dr. John — all I can say to that is I hope you are never given a Zither!

Thom — you can’t coin that phrase, Phyllis Diller already did. You can borrow it, though.

Jeff — last night OC and I predicted that you all would, and we weren’t far wrong.

  15. Yeah, it’ll be a rough week. That was clever though, the milk was a white herring. I was working on shot and milk. Very few verbs can be made of milk and shot.

  16. Doug — the purpose of the milk was so the word OUNCE could be easily seen.

Gattina — sorry. Milk is my friend.

Barbara — sometimes they are so easy, they’re hard!

  17. I saw on Melli’s blog where you guys are getting LOTS of rain. Well, I’m envious of that, too. Her snow and your rain are getting me in trouble with those 8 deadly sins thingy. 😉

For real, hope you are all ok. I’m off to wunderground now to check your weather. 🙂
