Carletta — in this part of the world at least, those beans are called KIDNEY beans. Hence, Kidney Pie.
I’m with Carletta. Those aren’t kidneys, they are kidney beans so either the pun is kidney bean pie, which I don’t think exists or bean pie which is kind of delicious.

Susan — I have eaten kidney pie. I didn’t hate it, but I have never had it again.
This is perfect, albeit one week early…
Next Sunday is 3.14 (March 14) and my kids always seem to celebrate Pi Day at school in math class (yes, I’m talking about my high schoolers). This year they even purchased t-shirts! Since the closest school day is Monday the 15th, they will be celebrating Pi Day when we are scratching our heads over another Punny Monday.
And that is possibly the ONLY reason I came up with the answer this week! LOL
