Every Monday I post an original photo and ask my readers to figure out what was going on in my brain (or Amoeba’s) when he/I/we made it. Posting time varies so every time zone occasionally gets a fair shot at being first to see the game.

Thank you for doing these Quilly. It reminds me, each week, that our brains all work in very different ways. The weeks that Raven is awake in the middle of the night and zips out an answer are the same weeks I can’t figure it out. And the once in a while that I get it, I’m usually late!
All I can say is that there are a lot of people smarter than me who aren’t playing right now or I wouldn’t have been first!
And to Barbara, I love the idea of military service. The Air Force mess dress looks like a tux — so this would fit well — serving the Army up to receive their just desserts?
I liked the Military Service Answer, too. That and Mumma’s “Dumbwaiter” was better than my original.
Oh, of course. We don’t do Thanksgiving in Australia, so I didn’t even twig. Did you at least get a chuckle out of my guess?
