Quilly is the pseudonym of Charlene L. Amsden, who lives on The Big Island in Hawaii. When she is not hanging out with Amoeba, she is likely teaching or sewing. Or she could be cooking, taking photographs, or even writing. But if she's not doing any of that, she's probably on Facebook or tinkering with her blog.

  1. Without words is okay, quiet time is no problem aslong as you are okay. I hope that all is good and that you are well and at peace. I send you hugs. The cuddly, mushy and all overwhelming type.

  2. Chana, I am well. The past week was long and hard and stressful and I just realized that this week will be much the same and I think it just caught up with me. Thanks for the hug. As usual, you warm my heart.

  3. Jenn — I am not used to being witholut words, but the mind was just blank.

Bill — the only difference between me and everybody else in the world can likely be measured in small degrees of selfishness.

  4. I know how you feel…having the same problem myself. Regarding Soup, Bibles and Blankets… had you said anything more than “here”, that young man may not have found his way out of the dark. You gave him his dignity by not fussing.
