Face-Out!

I went to Barnes & Noble today at Ala Moana Mall and this is what I saw:

Eight books face out in the general inventory.

Seven books on display in the main isle!

They are within just a few feet of the front door on the

NEW In PAPERBACK

kiosk!

And here’s a close-up so you can be as excited as I was!

If you haven’t read this novel yet

all I can say is,

“What’s taking so long?”

(review and excerpt)

Quilly is the pseudonym of Charlene L. Amsden, who lives on The Big Island in Hawaii. When she is not hanging out with Amoeba, she is likely teaching or sewing. Or she could be cooking, taking photographs, or even writing. But if she's not doing any of that, she's probably on Facebook or tinkering with her blog.

  1. I love Barnes & Noble at Ala Moana. As for the book, I can’t say I’ve heard of it, but I’ll put it on my list. Thanks for the tip…

  2. Yes! I got mine at Borders — and the guy that helped me FIND it told me she is on the BEST SELLERS LIST — and he THOUGHT he had sold out of his first shipment — BUT… he found a few tucked away!!! I haven’t started reading them yet… and I will probably read the first one first… just to make sense! But I DID read the acknowledgments… 😉

  3. Carolyn — if you like Urban Fantasy you’ll really enjoy this book.

Shrinky — I am. And don’t tell anybody, but begging agreeing to do this review got me an early copy of the novel!

Polona — it probably isn’t as exciting for you as it was for me.

Melli — Did you see my name? Did you? Did you?

  4. Quilly I am glad that your friend’s book is on the Best Sellers List, and that it is displayed for all to see. I will have to try to find it here in Calgary, and read it.

    PS

How did you make the book in color and everything else in black and white

  5. Betty — it will be right in plain sight!

Kat — Ilona and I started together. She stuck with it. She worked hard for that success and I am way proud of her.

CrazyCath — yes, it is available now in the UK. Magic Burns has a stand-alone story arc, but it is the second “Kate Daniels” book. I am absolutely certain you are going to love it, so you’ll want to get Magic Bites, too. 🙂

  6. David — I am listed in the acknowledgments of the above book, so it gets preferential treatment. Ilona and I met in a writing group, where I told her that of the 5 of us, she was the one that would make it. Apparently I am a prophet.

As for DAvid McMahon books at Barnes and Noble, they’re choke-full of them. All on Quantum Physics. That’s you, right? 😉
