Project Yellow
I never used to be a follower, but since I started my love affair with my camera (yes, OC knows and, except when I point the camera at his face, he’s bearing up well under the strain), I have found some fantastic photo blogs with some fun themes going. Today I stumbled upon Anna‘s blog and she is working with a color theme she’s named:
Project Yellow
Here’s my offering.

Great shot, Quilly. For what it’s worth, the plant is a Brugmansia, a member of the potato/tomato family (Solanaceae) that until recently was considered to be part of the genus Datura (Angel’s Trumpets or Jimsonweeds). They’re fine to look at, but you don’t want any in your salads.
Nice picture! Brumansia a little poisonous OC, or just tastes nasty?
I’ve only seen white blooms, never yellow.
looks a little like our bindweed only more spectacular (and bindweed is white not yellow) 🙂
beautiful shot, quilly
Nice shot, O Multi-Talented Quilly. I posted one as well, for Project Yellow. Say G’day to OC for me.
Quilly that is the shot I want to make! It’s great and the colour is so vibrant.
Anyway, because I am a bit curious about you, (great name and great place to live – not in the least jealous, no. not. promise. if i say i hate you don’t believe me).
As I was saying, er, where was I? Oh yes. You’re tagged. Come over mine again and see what I got for ya!
OC — thank you! 😡
Kat — he says a LOT poisonous. Stay away.
Brian — I had never seen them in any color and fell in love. OC (I believe he was jealous) told me they were weeds.
Polona — I took this photo by the edge of a narrow, windy road on Kona. OC was illegally parked and I was supposed to taking a quick photo of a sign he wanted record of. But, as long as I was there anyway …..
David — OC said g’day to me from you …. Blogspot wouldn’t let me comment this morning before I went to work. I’ll be over in a bit. I am going to put up another Project Yellow photo.
CrazyCath — be there toot-sweet.
Great photo! and stunning peacock!!!
from another unexpected yellow follower! :O)
Gina — thanks! I haven’t had a chance to visit the other yellow sites yet. I hope to soon!
