Project Back #5 — Punny Monday

What person (proper noun) does this photo represent? email your answers and leave a comment designed to either help or confuse your fellow game players.

The first contestant to EMAIL me the right answer wins a featured link in my blog which will display until next Monday when we’ll play this little game again. Enjoy.

PLEASE, do not write your guess in the comments. It spoils the game for the other players. Your guesses will be shared when the game ends.

Quilly is the pseudonym of Charlene L. Amsden, who lives on The Big Island in Hawaii. When she is not hanging out with Amoeba, she is likely teaching or sewing. Or she could be cooking, taking photographs, or even writing. But if she's not doing any of that, she's probably on Facebook or tinkering with her blog.

  1. I’m no threat to this contest, to figure out things like that, I would need a lot more words in my poor vocabulary!
I loved the story of the ( black, heheheh!) ladybug over at OC’s blog!
So you nick his pictures huh? Tssss! Shame on you!

  2. Jientje — no. He took MY picture. I took that photo of the lady bug on his finger. He insisted it wasn’t black, talked me out of posting it, then posted it himself!

  3. I see black… both literally and rethorically speaking!
No idea who is represented here so I will patiently wait to find out 🙂
    Happy Monday!

  4. I don’t know about the man but that’s barely enough money to buy dinner! I also enjoyed your ladybug ordeal 😉

  5. I’m not good at these either. I’m stumped. This comment is more just to say I was here and am awaiting the winning answer. 🙂

  6. Gooooooooodness it took me a WHILE on this one! I kept wondering what the Man In Black sittin’ on the can needed money for!??? Sheeeeesh!

  7. G’day from mid-holiday in Malaysia! Couldn’t resist checking out the pun contest.

Won’t leave my answer here (I’m paying heed to the rules!) but my comment is:

“Pot luck” or “flush with funds”.

  8. I think I may have finally figured one out, but I see I’m others have beat me to it. I am, as always, Flushed from the Bathroom of Your Heart.

  9. Mar — figuratively? I have made you angry?

JC — you are an expensive eater! I could buy quite a bit of dinner for $27.10 — enough for you and me and a bit left over. Just depends on where you purchase.

Robert — this one was to EASY!

    Melli — silly.

Amber — you probably try to over think it.

    Doug, the now defeated champ.

Melli — they still like me.

David — welcome to the contest. Better luck next time!

Cath — I asked OC and he agreed without need for begging or cajoling.

Shelly — but you didn’t send your answer!

Sandi — well, he was a king of sorts …..

Nessa — but your link is in my blogroll …. 🙂

Juliana — I can’t make OC do anything. I ask nicely and he agrees, or not. Sometimes he asks questions before deciding. This one he agreed to quick and easy.

Mary — thank you. And I bet you do!

  10. That’s great. Obviously I’m too late to guess, but I don’t think I would have gotten that one.
To answer your question, nope not done with my pb. Life (and a lack of black ideas) just got in the way and I missed a couple days.

  11. Nessa — I am so pleased that my day’s had labo did not go unappreciated.

    D. John — you sent your answer in an hour afterI’d posted the winners! You need to set your browse to update!

Mumma — OC agreed to this photos shoot, but not without trepidations of what ridicule he might leave himself open to. When I said, “You realize that I’m only photographing you knee, and your face won’t be in this picture?” His answer was a heart-felt, “Thank God!” So, you play nice.

Lynn — no problem. I know how life is! Come back next Monday and try the Punny Photo contest again.

  12. You are so right…I did try to overthink it…or not think at all once I couldn’t see it right away. That was a very good one 🙂

  13. *slaps head*
Doh! (Gettit? Doe – doh? – never mind!)

Glad OC agreed without your begging. Looks like he knows who wears the pants!

Now, I have some serious catching up to do…..
