Just signed up to run an Avon booth at a flea market event.
Trying to get my yard work done.
Spent hours working on a job app for a business actively soliciting apps even though — I discovered too late — they have enacted a hiring freeze and are preparing to lay workers off!
My perfectly clean kitchen keeps filling with dirty dishes! How can that be? We weren’t even home yesterday! We ate all three meals out.
Have ad copy to write for the church rummage sale.
And over 200 unread blog posts on my feed reader. I won’t be getting to them all!
Quilly is the pseudonym of Charlene L. Amsden, who lives on The Big Island in Hawaii. When she is not hanging out with Amoeba, she is likely teaching or sewing. Or she could be cooking, taking photographs, or even writing. But if she's not doing any of that, she's probably on Facebook or tinkering with her blog.

Sounds like a blessed, full life to me. 🙂 On #8….I used to wonder that on Sundays when we’d be gone all day doing church stuff and the house would be a total mess in the evenings. How can that happen?
You sound like me lately. I can’t seem to get around to visiting blogs. I do good to get my own posts up, and that’s mostly because of review deadlines.
I’ve been missing your Flashback Fridays but I understand the craziness.
Just reading this made me tired. You need to stop for a bit and have a rest.
re; the comment over at my place. I am concerned where our Susan got to as well. She even quit making comments on the FB.
You have a wonderful Sunday.
PS, wasn’t there a movie with this Title in the 1970’s/80’s?

For sure there is a James Taylor (my fave, there are others) song:
Every day it’s getting closer
Going faster than a roller coaster
A love like yours would surely come my way
Every day seems a little faster
All my friends they say go on up and ask her
A love like yours would surely come my way
Every day it seems a little stronger
Every day it lasts a little longer
Come what may do you ever long for
True love from me like I longed for yours baby
…
Just looking at the number 200 would be too much for me. I usually just “Mark as read” because I get stressed out, knowing there is so much I need to do. Sounds like life is busy! 🙂
You are one busy gal, eh? Don’t be such a stranger!
My you’re busy, don’t forget to breathe! 😉
Sounds like your just living life!
Have a good blessed Sunday.
That #6 is a bummer, but practice writing job applications might be useful yet.
I can certainly understand being busy. I’ve been feeling like my hair’s on fire myself. Or was that just when I got some hair caught in my hair drier this morning! Oy! Hope everything is going well for you. 🙂
You really do make my head swim. And here I am just sitting around and blogging tonight.
.
My, my, Quilly, you are really busy! 🙂 So busy you have time to make a list of your busy things and post it on a blog! I thought the pun picture would be here at midnight but I am thinking now that you were so busy that you overslept.
I have been equally or more busy. I haven’t posted on my blog since March 24th but then you haven’t visited since March 17 so that update delay really doesn’t matter much. Tomorrow though, I will change the date of the 24 to make it March 31 and link it to MidWeek Blues.
This morning I have fed the animals, taken my meds, and written a VERY LONG e-mail to the family telling of all the busy things coming up for this week again. It will be busier than even last week for me! I may have to miss Tuesday golf tomorrow again.
If we ever both get caught up we can compare notes. Mine are in my head so you would come out ahead because my head is so full a lot of things and ideas go into the OVERFLOW BIN.
..
Actually Jim, I did visit your blog and see your March 24th post. I just didn’t comment. I have been doing that to everyone more and more often of late. I just can’t catch up!
.
That’s okay, Quilly. I am glad to know you dropped by though. Thank you lots. One day you will have to retire. I have no idea how I could possibly get everything done and spend time trying to earn money too! 🙂 Meaning there still isn’t time to get caught up!
