Brooke — thank you, dear. I had a heck of a time getting a decent photo of this plant. I actually had to take the camera off auto-focus because it was going nuts trying o decide what to “look” at!
That is an aptly named flower! Again your closeups are great! And I agree that auto-focus is not fool proof. Mine doesn’t like some clouds. My “Then and Now†views are almost the same, but there have been chages to siding and the yard across the street. I was standing about 10 feet closer to the street pointing a little to the right in the first picture. The lamppost is just off to the right. And the brown house in the bottom picture is off the left to the top picture. The backyard across the street has changed over the 26 years: shed added, fence replaced, and bushes along the fence removed. One of the trees near the fence is gone now. The townhouse up the hill is a different color.
The colors in this are so vibrant and so spring-y. Beautiful!
