I’m sorry to hear of your close encounter of the hard kind. Hope your love has kissed the hurt and all’s better now. Thanks for your recent comments. My sidebar will change often now, as warmer weather has finally started the blooms to come out of their shell. A couple of couplets for you.

    Quilly say,

    then blog! no way!”

    no can do photography.”

  6. Barbara H. says:

    This is gorgeous!

  7. Quilly says:

Polona — ha! You get so many more great shots than I can even dream of!

Lew — this was pure luck. I was standing up on the levy and the birds were skimming over the water. I just put the camera on a high speed setting and started clicking.

And I loved the couplets. They made me laugh!

    Mar — thank you.

    Barbara — thank you.

Oh my gosh! That bird is gorgeous! Crystal clear! GOOD JOB YOU! Good job new lenses too I suspect….

  9. Quilly says:

Melli — did you check the date on this dove? It is from Easter and very much the old lens! But don’t worry. The new lenses don’t disappoint!

  10. melli says:

Oh! No! I see this was before the new lenses! WOW!

  11. Quilly says:

Melli — one of the new lenses is identical to the old lens. The old lens worked great until I broke it.
