Post 900

This is post 900.

900!

A number like 900 calls for something momentous and weighty.

I got nada.

NADA!

So I’m just going to regale you with some of my favorite moments from me:
(‘cuz I’m modest and unassuming)

June 2008 — Brings you to date. On June first we (my blog and I) celebrated our third anniversary. Today I have posted my 900th post. A lot of pictures and a lot of words have graced these pages. I have had much fun here and met many wonderful people — OC included.

Each of you have touched my heart. You’ve opened my eyes, challenged me to care and made me think. I cherish you all more than I can say. This anniversary is yours as much as mine, because if it weren’t for my readers, I wouldn’t be here.

Thank you.

25 months — approximately 750 days — 900 posts

Or she could be cooking, taking photographs, or even writing. But if she's not doing any of that, she's probably on Facebook or tinkering with her blog.

  1. Karen — I remember my 200th post. It was a major milestone. Blogging is fun, but it is also hard work!

    Andrew — thanks. Ditto.

Brian — tha perfect gift — one size fits all and it contains no calories or environmental pollutants.

  2. happy blogaversary! 900 is quite a milestone.

funny, i never remember to check the number of my posts… and they’ve been a few on all the blogs :o)

  3. Michael — hey, everyday is a milestone that first year!

Juliana — I usually don’t check either, but I had an entirely different post written and I forgot to name it, so WordPress just labeled it with the post number, thus bringing the momentous occasion to my attention.

Dr. John — then you should be thrilled that my sense of humor is returning.

    SN — I haven’t decided yet. 😉

Holly — I have proven to myself that I can write for and sustain an audience, and that I can write EVERY DAY. Now, for the manuscript ….

  4. A regular little chatterbox aren’t ya? I’m on 957 I think. Something like that anyway. I have never once remembered to celebrate a blogilogical occasion. Sad isn’t it? Congrats to you! 🙂 ( I am seriously TRYING to catch 1000 – we’ll see if I manage it!)

  5. Michael — actually, I am not good at offering sympathy, either, which could be why OC is so reluctant to give it.

Brig — you’re right. I have no business trying to move into the big leagues. What was I thinking?

    Shelly — 3 years and counting ….

Melli — I caught this one accidentally.

  6. Amazing isn’t it……..I actually have no idea, how many I have, I wiped out my original blog. I have always been sorry I did that.

Your posts have changed so much haven’t they from one life to the next……it is so interesting how our life changes. That is the wonderful part of blogging, it gives you a diary of your life, (if you don’t erase it, haha)

  7. 900 posts!! My goodness that is a LOT is blogtime. 🙂 I’ve been very busy being domestic today and just now got a little computer time. Hope you had a restful Sunday after you staunched the flow of blood from your thumb. You poor thing. And…he didn’t even offer to go get it for you off the piano. hmmm…..maybe he just looks nice. 🙂

  8. Congrats on Post Nine Hundred. In 100 days we can celebrate the big One Thousand. We can call you “Quilly of a 1000 Posts”

A Blessed Day is wished for you.
