Melli’s Alphabet Photo Challenge

Melli, our hostess with the mostest, presents:

The ALPHABET PHOTO CHALLENGE

Week Eleven: U & V

Once again, I thought you all might like to see a few more parts of the gate
that thinks it’s art,
or the art masquerading as a gate –
– whichever the case may be.

Kind of jumped right out at me.

And this V is nothing short of heavenly!

If you enjoyed this alphabetical vingette, please be sure to visit Melli and click on her links to see who else is playing.  And if you REALLY enjoyed it, grab a camera and play along — before the fun comes to an end.  Next week’s letters are W and X.

  1. Congratulations ! very special findings !
When this game is finished I think I will still see letters everywhere :=) !

A harp has such a wonderful sound, beautiful choice!

  3. I can not WAIT to see that entire gate! 2 more weeks, right? I am so jealous of your harp! I am coveting that harp! Even with ALL my beautiful V’s I found… your harp wins! That is exquisite!

  4. I still don’t know where that damn gate is. Every morning when I walk the dog I look for it and have just given up. Great finds Quilly. You do such a fantastic job with these.

    Rabbit, rabbit

  5. Anni — I took so many photos of the harp, I think the harpist was afraid she’d contracted a stalker!

Gattina — I know I already do. I look at something and thing, “Now where was that when we were on letter ___!”

Nessa — Hassenpfeffer incorporated to you, too! That gate keeps calling me back. I have stood in front of it many times, and am not certain I have “seen” it all!

Doug — to look at and to listen to!

Mar — at least a thousand stories! Soon it will get a post all its own!

    Janet – -thank you!

Melli — I haven’t got a solid date for the gate post, but it will be on or before the end of the photo challenge.

    Barbara — thank you.

Juliana — a never ending source of dazzle.

Thom — you are going to have to walk the dog about 8 miles further west. The gate is at UH.

  6. I’m looking forward to see it for real! They’re both great finds Quilly, I love them both!

    I’m in trouble.
This week’s words for the 3word challenge don’t “talk” to me. Especially the first one, I don’t think I’m going to make it this time.
    Bleh!

  7. Quilly ~ You did good Kid, that Gate is really coming in handy. If I had a suspicious mind I’d think you “Geared Up” that Gate before the contest began.
