Whatever he was eating, it left his face a sticky mess. Â He flew to the sprinkler and started chattering away. Â I believe he was demanding I turn on the water. Â Not having that power, I took his photo instead.

Church Lady — I have in fact posted Brazilian Cardinals a couple of Times on Ruby Tuesday. I should probably play that meme more consistently, but I can’t keep up with all the traffic!

Susan — well, go sit in the middle of a botanical garden and wait …. That’s what I did! I was taking a rest on a bench under a shady tree and this fella came to me.
I think they must suffer from static electricity or something — I often notice that even when they eat out of the bird feeder, my birds come away with STUFF on their beaks! That is a FABULOUS shot — and he is a beauuuuutiful bird!
