Ella & The Tofurkey & Gravy Soda

Ella took a sip of the Jones Tofurkey & Gravy Soda, declared it tasty, then drained the bottle.

Ella

Luckily everyone else at the dinner table already had their taste. I took their photographs, too, but you’ll have to stay tuned for that post. I just returned from Amoeba’s Black Friday concert (yes, I’ll be posting about that soon, too!) and Thom will be here any moment. He and I are going shopping together this afternoon. That’ll be fun, won’ it?

  1. Just don’t take Ella! The last female you two took shopping stripped down and ran around the store half naked! I don’t want my Ella Phlint doing that!

(I thought neither of you LIKED shopping — how fun could it be? I guess having each other makes it … less miserable!)

    1. Melli — neither of us DO like shopping. Boy, going shopping with Thom is an experience. I think, consider, evaluate, price. He goes, “Oh! Pretty!” And grabs. So he was tossing things into the cart and I was taking them back out and reasoning with him.

I think we each thought the other something yesterday. First and foremost, not to go shopping together! LOL!

  2. *gasp*
    *choke*

So glad to see Ella here with a turkey hat on her head! The other elephants at my house miss her.

No crazy doings at our house. The only place I went today was over to someone else’s house to get a bunch of cut greens to make advent wreaths (after which we had coffee and nibblings of apple cake).

  3. Poor Ella, had to have the last swig. I take you passed the bottle around till gone?

I will wait to see the loot. They reported here that people were buying what they
came for and then a whole bunch more bargains.
    ..

    1. Jim, we did not pass the bottle around — how horribly unsanitary! 😉

I put a bit of soda — a very little bit — in everybody’s glass. Ella consumed most of the bottle.

  4. Ah, there’s the famous Tofurkey soda 😉 . I hope the concert was a great success. I just mentioned in my last post that I’m not too fond of shopping, but doing it with a good friend must be a lot of fun 🙂 . Have a great time.

  5. I always figured our little Ella was a bit of a turkey… now we have photographic evidence to support my theory. She looks so cute in that hat. I am Thankful for all of you that, with Ella there for Thanksgiving, there was enough food that the humans got to eat too. Give Ella a big hug & kiss for me. :o)

    1. Ella didn’t eat at my table. She said the spread at Thom’s place had stuffed her. She tried the soda with us, then went to bed!

  6. Ella decided to stay at Quilly’s and pass up on shopping. She wasn’t feeling too well after being made to wear a Turkey Hat LOL

  7. Hahaha ! Ella’s hat is absolutely gorgeous ! she should show it to the English Royals, I am sure the Queen would love to have one like that !
