Round Two

Round Two has started in Leesa’s Battle of the Blogs. The competition is stomping the heck out of me. Go vote!

Okay, don’t go vote. It really doesn’t matter because I know you all love me, or you wouldn’t leave so many lovely comments.

Izzy Update: He quit. Too much pressure. Now, instead of line leader — he is last in line. There nobody tells him to move faster. For the record, Izzy says he quit because Tim really, really, really wanted the job, so he gave it to him.

We didn’t win the door decorating contest for Nevada reading week, but Mr. K.’s kids did, and their door was cool. No winner has been announced for the Bookworm Contest. It has to be us though. Has to be.

  1. Yes we do, Quilly. Whatever happens on the battle.

Like when the Boothbay high school basketball team lost in the state finals. The town still loves them. And they won the tournament sportsmanship award. The most important victory …

Iz is as Iz is. Maybe he’ll get a job someday. Something to do with shuffleboard.

  2. OC — you have a way or charming me and making me laugh at the same time. You may have predicted Izzy’s future perfectly. Mine, too, I hope. :*
Minka — if we don’t win, my kids are going to be crushed. They just about wore out their eyeballs and tongues reading all those books.

  3. Melli — thank you. This morning I was 12 votes behind. For a minute I thought about letting that bother me, then I figured I’d rather keep my friends happy here then keep them running all over the net to vote for me.

  4. I’ve just been over to vote for you, when I voted you were 9 votes behind.

Glad Izzy realized his dream of being a leader wasn’t what he needed. Sometimes it is good to be the follower.

  5. Polona — the count doesn’t matter — the people do, but thanks for voting.

Silver — they still haven’t announced the winners. My kids are getting uptight.

Dr. John — I am way behind again. It doesn’t mean I have less friends or am not as wonderful as the other guy. I find my needs and wants are fullfilled in plenty.

Bill — don’t worry about counting. I’m not.
