Ella At Work

Wednesdays are big days at work.  Every Wednesday the checks are cut for the current bills.  Each check must be matched to it’s invoice, checked for accuracy (amount and address) then paper clipped to said invoice along with a window envelope and sent off to the boss’s secretary for yet another proof before it goes to the boss for signing.  Yesterday Ella was a big help.

She helped me by putting the invoices in alphabetical order while munching on her Moana Loa Macadamia Nut chocolate bar.  I think the chocolate elephant toe prints on the invoices are cute.  Let’s hope the boss agrees.

After getting all the checks in order and delivering them to the boss’s secretary, Ella demanded another visit to the Atlantis Seafood and Steak restaurant.  I ordered Thai Chicken Curry.  Ella was going to settle for a salad since she insists that only barbarians eat meat, but when she realized that the Thai Chicken Curry contained egg plant, she charmed the cook into preparing a bushel of curried egg plant sans chicken.  That Ella seems to have everyone wrapped around her little toe!

  2. I’m so glad those checks and invoices are going to be proofed one more time! Ella sometimes goes a little ADHD … if ya know what I mean! Ella sure is eating well with you!!!

  3. Doug — Ella CAN’T stay longer. She has a pressing engagement in Texas right after she and I present together at the WordPress Blogger’s seminar (WordCamp) here in Hawaii on the 24th of this month.

  7. Quilly, good luck at the seminar. I noticed Lorelle is also speaking. If at all possible, listen to her speech. She’s a WordPress guru/mentor/rockstar, and I’m sure that whatever she says will be interesting.

  14. It’s nice to see Ella helping you with your work, Quilly. I’m sure it must be costing you a ‘bundle’ to feed her, and new clothes too as she grows from eating so much. You both seem to be having such a wonderful time together and I’m sure OC is enjoying it all too. After all, who wouldn’t love Ella.
