#226 — In Flight
Flight, 2009.
This photo was taken just East of Haumana Bay at a scenic overlook along Kalanianaole Highway. I wanted to try out my new 200mm lens and attempt to capture a bird in flight. I went out, sat down on the retaining wall at the scenic overlook and snapped over 300 hundred shots of birds and people and sea, and at least 100 of the shots were birds in flight. Maybe a half dozen of those photos were acceptable, this one being the best of the lot.

Nicole, I am not admitting how long I stood on that cliff or how many shots I took just to get one good photo!
pigeons in flight are not so easy to catch as it may seem. great work!
