#227 — Pigeon

Pigeon, 2009.

This photo was taken just East of Haumana Bay at a scenic overlook along Kalanianaole Highway. I went out to the site with the hopes of photographing a few pigeons in flight and getting a couple of spectacular scenery photos. Check out the photos before and after this one and judge for yourself whether or not I succeeded.

    Oh, wow.
Lovely clarity and framing and dof!
And that stare, uh, I’m scared 😀
    What a Mr. Cool” 😀

Nicole, I would like to tell you I did something wonderful and technical to create this DOF, but the truth is, the parking lot, which you can’t see, and the green field on the other side of it, which you can see, did it for me. I only had to focus on the Rock Pigeon and the rock wall.

Well, sometimes we just need a lucky moment 😉

Yeah, but it helps if one is actively seeking the lucky moment!
